IDR sanctioned for between 15-20 miles at a speed of 4 mph, will update ride calendar when mileage is confirmed. Ride Management and the extraordinary Valley Ride Committee are thrilled to host this ride at the beautiful Hobby Horse Farm in Coldbrook, NS.
Entries and payment are sent to RM/Secretary Carrilee, must be received by 9 pm Sept. 25th - any entries received after the cut off date of Sept.18th are subject to the late fee. eTransfers are preferred for entry as well as for any refunds.
Judging should start at 9 am Saturday, hopefully 8 am Sunday.
Awards/placings will be announced just before supper, assuming master scoresheets are complete and ready for viewing. Enjoy drinks and snacks while you wait!
There is plenty of room for tents, trailers and pens. We'll have a volunteer to help with parking and fingers crossed, a map to post ahead of time.
There are 16-18 stalls available for rent - bring your own hay and bedding or arrange with Hobby Horse Farm to purchase straw. Leave stalls clean when you leave, of course!
If penning at your trailer, please clean around your trailer. There are also paddock options. Paddock and penning areas must be left as you found it, or cleaner. There are wheelbarrows and a manure trailer at the front of the barn.
For the humans, we are lucky to have access to the farmhouse where there are 8 bedrooms to rent for $35, bring your own bedding.
